Mo’o E’ucan explained that the Tsou people in the Xinmei District know the story of the Dutch Spring and are aware that “Chumu no ’angmu” refers to the area of Xinmei. The Alishan National Scenic Area Administration’s official website even tells the story and refers to the Gu’anna Waterfalls as “Dutch Spring”, but Mo’o E’ucan pointed out that the setting for the story Dutch Spring in Xinmei is referred to today as “yai’isana”.
