During the initial research into this native language place name, the production team located a Kavalan language teacher living in Hualien. The teacher suggested contacting alungaw, who lives in Jiaoxi, to assist with the project. Alungaw said that most older residents generally know KibannuIan, while the younger generation may be less familiar with the story. As the number of Kavalan people living in Jiaoxi, Yilan is relatively small, implementing native language education is more challenging. The area has gone through many changes and extensive development over the years. Today, Qiwulan Road in Erlong Village is closest to the traditional location of KibannuIan.
